Forever OBSESSED

Because every detail makes a world of difference
Every detail matters. This belief has guided Oribe from the very beginning.
Every decision we make is done with intention and care, with no detail overlooked. We obsess over every detail, and always have. From how we create our products, to the experience of using them.
We are on a journey to craft more consciously, finding beauty in the tiniest tweaks that add up to a big difference. This means searching for more responsible ingredients, and daring to use them in new ways, so they perform for hair, people, and planet—without compromise.
While some may see the details as small, we know they make a world of difference. That’s why we are innovating new materials and new approaches, harnessing our creativity for better luxury packaging, more mindful formulations, lower carbon emissions, and greater diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We’ll never stop improving and perfecting, always striving for new levels of performance. Together, with our community of artists, stylists, clients, and partners, and through an obsessive attention to detail, we’ll craft beautiful experiences to leave a legacy of care.

better LUXURY PACKAGING

What we’ve achieved

Product Packaging
  • Oribe’s primary product packaging including shampoo bottles and caps, styling bottles and caps, jars and caps, aerosol cans and caps, travel and deluxe sample tubes are recycle-stream compliant.
  • Oribe has transitioned 14 of our bottles to be 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), allowing us to reduce plastic waste and lower our carbon footprint.
  • We have transitioned our conditioner and styling tube sleeve material from a foil laminate, which is not-recyclable, to medium density polyethene [MDPE], which is recyclable.
Renewal Remedies Treatment Experience
  • Applicator bottles and tips are easy to clean and dry, making them good for at least 10 uses and are recyclable.
  • 1 liter and 500 ml bottles are made from 100% post-consumer plastic, are produced in the USA, and are completely recyclable.
Liter Refill Pouches
  • Oribe offers 1 liter refill pouches for eight shampoos and conditioners, as well as hand wash, body wash, and body crème for retail purchase on Oribe.com and salon backbar use. Refill pouch uses 71% less single-use plastic than our regular liter bottles.
  • All backbar shampoos, conditioners and masques that are available to our salon partners, as well as retail body wash and body crème, will be available in Liter Refill Pouches by the end of 2023.
Holiday Sets
  • Boxes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
  • The internal product tray is made from 100% biodegradable and renewable plant fiber.
Paper-based Packaging and Outer Cartons
  • Since our inception, all Oribe paper-based packaging is made from materials certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
  • The 140 year old paper mill Oribe partners with has been powered by fully renewable hydroelectric generators installed in 1922.
  • Oribe prints our cartons using eco-friendly, plant-based inks.
